About Meridian
A dependable advisory partner for owner-led businesses.
Who we are
Financial clarity, explained properly
Meridian Business Advisory is an accounting, tax and business advisory practice working with startups, small and medium-sized businesses and growing enterprises in Kenya.
Many business owners receive accounts they do not fully understand, or advice that does not reflect how their business actually works. We set out to do things differently: to keep records accurate and timely, to explain them clearly and to recommend practical steps that fit each business.
A meridian is a line of reference, used to find a position and set a direction. That is the role we aim to play for our clients.

Mission and values
Our mission
To give business owners the financial clarity they need to make confident decisions and build durable businesses.
Clarity
We explain financial information in plain language and make sure you understand the reasoning behind every recommendation.
Integrity
We give honest assessments, even when the news is not what you hoped to hear, and we are clear about the limits of our advice.
Practicality
We recommend actions that fit your resources and the way your business actually works.
Reliability
We agree timelines and responsibilities up front and keep you informed when anything changes.
Advisory philosophy
Advice should be practical, proportionate and honest
Good advice starts with understanding the business: how it earns money, where the pressure points are and what the owner is trying to achieve. Only then do the numbers tell a useful story.
We favour a small number of clear priorities over long lists of recommendations. We size our suggestions to the resources you have, and we are candid when something is outside our scope or needs specialist input.
We do not promise outcomes we cannot control, such as tax savings or growth targets. What we can promise is careful work, clear explanations and dependable communication.
Client communication
How we keep you informed
Plain-language explanations
Every report comes with a short written summary of what changed, why it matters and what we suggest.
Agreed timelines
We confirm what we need from you and when you will receive work, and we tell you early if anything changes.
A consistent point of contact
You work with people who know your business, not a different person each time.
Clear limits
We are open about what is within our scope and when specialist legal or tax advice is needed.
